Dr Niamh Scanlon, dentist at Docklands Dental Dublin

I graduated from Cork Dental School with an Honours degree in 2014. After qualifying, I was one of only two students in my year to be offered a vocational training post in the UK, which I completed in London. I have spent the next couple of years developing my dentistry skills in general practice, and traveling to dental courses within the UK and Europe to enhance my skills in oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry. During my time in the UK, I also successfully completed exams to become a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

I returned to Ireland to complete a six-month post as Senior House Officer of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Cork University Hospital, where I gained invaluable surgical experience. I then moved to Dublin to join the team at Docklands Dental, where I enjoy providing all aspects of dentistry. I believe in caring for patients with a personalised approach to provide high quality treatment and an enjoyable dental experience.
