Orthodontic Fees

We do not provide orthodontics at Docklands Dental. Braces and clear aligners are carried out by specialist orthodontists, and the fees on this page are theirs rather than ours.

Who provides orthodontic treatment

Orthodontic treatment for our patients is carried out by the specialist orthodontists at the Institute of Specialist and Cosmetic Dentistry (ISCD), the specialist practice we work closely with — Dr. Susan O’Connell and Dr. Erfan Salloum. Dr. O’Connell holds Invisalign Diamond Provider status, one of the few specialists in Ireland to do so.

Orthodontics is one of only two dental specialties formally recognised in Ireland, which means a specialist orthodontist has completed several years of recognised postgraduate training beyond a dental degree.

If you come to us wanting straighter teeth, we will assess you, talk through the options and refer you across for the orthodontic phase. Where cosmetic work follows the straightening — bonding, veneers or crowns — that part is done here.

Orthodontic fees at ISCD

  • Specialist orthodontic assessment – €150
  • Invisalign® clear aligners – €2,500–€3,500 per case
  • Fixed braces, metal or ceramic – from €1,250 per arch
  • Interceptive treatment for children – from €600

These fees are quoted and charged by ISCD, and confirmed after an assessment rather than read off a list — what moves the figure is how much movement your case needs and how long it will take. Note that the units differ: Invisalign is priced per case, fixed braces per arch.

Orthodontic treatment is eligible for 20% tax relief with a Med 2 form.

Our own fees

Docklands Dental fees for general, restorative and cosmetic treatment are on our price list. If you are weighing up straightening before cosmetic work, our guide to orthodontics before veneers explains how the two phases fit together and what the combined cost looks like.

Looking for orthodontic treatment? Docklands Dental does not provide orthodontics. Invisalign and braces are provided by our specialist partners at the Institute of Specialist and Cosmetic Dentistry (ISCD), a short walk away in the IFSC.
